These Sideline Savant Game Terms supplement the Big North Studios Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If these terms conflict with the general Terms of Use on a matter specific to Sideline Savant, these Sideline Savant Game Terms control for that matter.
Sideline Savant is operated by Big North Marketing LLC dba Big North Studios.
1. Availability and eligibility
Sideline Savant is initially offered in the United States and is intended for users age 13 and older.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Sideline Savant only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
We may expand regional availability later and may update these terms and our privacy disclosures before doing so.
2. Fictional football simulation
Sideline Savant is a fictional football franchise simulation for entertainment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, teams, players, coaches, owners, writers, scouts, league events, transactions, records, and stories generated within the game are fictional game content.
Sideline Savant is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with the National Football League, its member clubs, or any other real professional football league or team.
Do not interpret simulated ratings, scouting reports, articles, rankings, injuries, contracts, or other game content as factual information about a real person or organization.
3. Franchise saves and cloud synchronization
Sideline Savant primarily stores franchise simulation data on your device. Eligible authenticated users may choose to synchronize supported franchise saves to our cloud service.
A franchise save can contain a large amount of simulated data, including team and franchise names, players, ratings, contracts, standings, schedules, transactions, draft history, articles, and season history.
You are responsible for choosing franchise and team names that comply with the general Terms of Use.
Cloud synchronization is a convenience feature and is not a guarantee against every form of data loss. We may apply storage limits based on account or subscription tier.
Deleting a local franchise does not necessarily delete a separate cloud copy unless the game indicates that both copies are being removed. Cloud saves can be managed using the controls provided in the service.
4. AI-generated narrative content
A central feature of Sideline Savant is automated narrative coverage of your fictional league. The game may generate local columns, national stories, scouting reports, owner messages, rankings commentary, draft coverage, playoff analysis, free-agency coverage, and other in-world material using artificial intelligence.
The AI system receives structured information about the simulated league and produces fictional entertainment content from that context.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain mistakes, inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, unsupported interpretations, or other defects. It should be understood as part of the game experience, not as a factual statement about a real person, real team, or real-world event.
Big North may store generation records for quality review, troubleshooting, safety, and audit purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may regenerate, replace, discard, moderate, or fall back to non-AI template content when a generation fails, is unsuitable, or does not meet our quality requirements.
5. Simulation outcomes and re-simulation
Football results in Sideline Savant are determined by the game's simulation systems. A higher-rated team is not guaranteed to win a particular game.
Ratings, depth, injuries, roster construction, positional strengths and weaknesses, home-field effects, randomness, and other game systems may affect outcomes.
If the game provides a limited re-simulation feature, the number, timing, eligibility, and consequences of re-simulations are governed by the current in-game rules. Re-simulation does not create a right to a preferred outcome.
We may rebalance simulation systems as we test and improve the game.
6. Sideline Pass and paid features
Sideline Savant may offer Sideline Pass or other premium entitlements through supported platforms.
The price, duration, renewal terms, and benefits displayed before purchase control the specific transaction.
Native purchases may be managed through Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may be used to confirm purchase status and entitlement access, while Apple remains the payment platform for App Store transactions.
Deleting your Sideline account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription or create a refund. Manage App Store subscriptions through Apple's subscription controls unless the game expressly provides another supported method.
Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and Apple's policies for purchases processed by Apple.
7. Analytics and session replay
Sideline Savant uses analytics to understand onboarding, feature use, technical errors, purchases, AI-generation performance, and other product behavior.
The game may use PostHog product analytics and sampled session replay. Our implementation is designed to exclude sensitive account and free-text content from PostHog event properties and to mask or block sensitive information in replay, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Session replay is used for product quality and troubleshooting, not for advertising.
8. No gambling or professional advice
Sideline Savant does not offer real-money wagering, sports betting, fantasy-sports cash contests, or a mechanism to withdraw simulated assets for money.
Game predictions, rankings, simulated statistics, generated commentary, and roster analysis are entertainment features. They should not be used as gambling, financial, employment, scouting, medical, legal, or other professional advice.
9. Beta and TestFlight use
Sideline Savant may be offered through TestFlight or other beta programs before or alongside public release.
Beta builds may contain incomplete systems, data migrations, balance changes, defects, resets, or unavailable purchase features.
We may change or reset beta data when reasonably necessary to fix defects, protect service integrity, or prepare a release. We will try to avoid unnecessary loss of franchise progress and will provide notice of major planned resets when practical.
10. Account deletion
Sideline Savant is intended to provide an in-app method for authenticated users to initiate permanent account deletion.
Successful deletion is intended to remove the account, profile, cloud saves, and other account-linked personal data that Big North is not legally or operationally permitted to retain.
Some security, transaction, or AI audit records may be retained temporarily or in de-identified form under the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting the account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription. If you have an active subscription, use Apple's subscription-management controls as needed.

11. Content ownership
Sideline Savant, its software, original visual design, logos, fictional presentation, game systems, generated article presentation, and other original materials are owned by Big North or its licensors.
You may share personal, noncommercial screenshots, gameplay clips, franchise stories, and commentary about your own game experience, provided you do not falsely claim to be an official Big North account or violate another person's rights.
